1、 What is LVL forward plate?
LVL longitudinal board is a single board made from raw wood by rotary cutting or planing. After drying and gluing, it is assembled according to the longitudinal pattern or most of the longitudinal patterns, and then hot pressed and glued together to form a board. LVL has structural characteristics that solid wood sawn timber does not have: high strength, high toughness, good stability, and specifications, which are three times higher in strength and toughness than solid wood sawn timber. LVL directional board material can be made of wood with defects such as scars, cracks, and dispersion, which greatly reduce the impact on strength. It has stable quality, uniform strength, and low material variability, making it the most ideal structural material to replace solid wood with LVL directional board; The size can be adjusted without being affected by the shape and defects of the wood, up to 8.3 meters in length, with a thickness of up to 150 millimeters. Depending on the status of the wood, it can be cut at will and then the size can be selected. The utilization rate of raw materials is as high as 100%; In the treatment of LVL and the same wood, sawing, slicing, chiseling, mortising, nailing, etc. can be used; LVL has characteristics such as insect resistance, corrosion resistance, waterproofing, and fire resistance, mainly due to corresponding pretreatment or the use of special adhesives during the manufacturing process.
2、 The advantages of LVL directional board are that LVL directional board has good durability, and after comparison during use, the damage to the adhesive layer is smaller than that during bonding of finished materials. Good strength performance, the defects of the original wood are evenly distributed in the laminated veneer lumber, and the average performance is better than that of the finished wood; LVL longitudinal plate has good creep performance, based on the processed structural material.
